The City of Liverpool College has built a state of the art Certified AM2 centre that provides specially equipped booths that contain electrical installation wiring systems to teach and test candidates understanding of electrical installation.

We Offer

Completion of the AM2 assessment can be used to satisfy industry requirements for grading membership of Joint Industry Board (JIB) and or similar quality control and industry recognised organisations.

What you will need pre assessment

  • ID:  All candidates must bring photographic identification to the centre on the first day -  this will be checked prior to start of the assessment.
  • Self-Assessment Checklist: Candidates must bring their completed copy signed by the candidate, their employer and/or their training provider (candidates undertaking the assessment independently should complete the exercise themselves). You can download a copy of the checklist by following this link below.
  • Candidate Self Assessment Checklist 2012

  • Suitable Work wear: Candidates are asked to present themselves at the assessment centre on time, dressed in suitable working clothing and wearing sound footwear.
