Opened in August 2003 at a cost of £8.2 million, this centre is home to students studying for a career in the service industries. It accommodates over 3,100 students.
The faculty’s bakery department holds the badge of excellence from the National Skills Academy (NSA) of Food and Drink Manufacturing. It joins an elite membership of providers recognised for expertise in bakery and confectionery training.
The college’s Academy Restaurant, Academy Bakery and Academy Hair and Beauty salons are also run from this centre. They offer a range of services to the public at very competitive prices.
