This £10 million centre opened in February 2003, and is home to the faculty of Construction and Engineering. More than 3,400 learners attend this centre, which runs the largest range of construction courses in the region.

This centre also holds academy status for environmental technologies.  It is also lead college for the greater Merseyside and West Cheshire Skills Academy in Environmental Technologies.
