Liverpool Community College offers a wide range of Higher Education courses.

Our programmes have been designed in consultation with employers and the professions to produce graduates with the subject knowledge and higher level skills valued in the world of work. We offer Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, Foundation Degrees and an Honours Degree in Social Work (see course list).

Qualifications under the National Qualifications Framework

  • Higher National Certificate (level 4 qualification)
  • Higher National Diploma (level 5 qualification)
  • Foundation Degree (level 5 qualification)
  • Bachelor of Arts with Honours (level 6 qualification)

Our degree courses are awarded by universities. We work with Liverpool John Moores University, De Montfort University, Edge Hill University, Manchester Metropolitan University and Liverpool Hope University. Our Higher Nationals are awarded by EdExcel.

Many of our graduates carry on with their studies either full or part time and, in the case of foundation degrees, there are clearly mapped progression opportunities for those who want to top up to honours.

Visit our course list for details about each of the courses and how to apply.
