Information, advice and guidance
You can discuss your career ideas and options with lots of different people: parents; carers;
teachers; Connexions advisers and friends. Finding out information from other people is useful as
there is a wide variety of routes to develop your career and progress to university.
Learner Services at college will support you with a guidance interview to advise you on the range
of options available. This discussion will focus on you, your career ideas and help you think about
the ways in which you learn.
You will also be encouraged to think about your own skills and how they can be developed, to help
you progress into employment or on to university. The discussion will help you explore and plan
applications.
