College First for Young People

College First courses offer you the chance to improve your Maths or English,
learn basic computer skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
They can support your work prospects or help you to prepare for further
study.
Learn at your own pace in one of our Drop in Study Centres (DISC) located
in your area or at a main college site.
An individual learning plan is set up to help you to achieve your aims.
You will have a chance to use computers and you will have the opportunity to
join a variety of short courses throughout the year.
A skills assessment is made at the start so you can concentrate on the
areas you need to develop.
