Increased Flexibility Programme
Last updated on 3/19/2009
IFP is a major national programme that allows school learners aged
14-16 to develop practical work related skills outside school.
Twenty five schools in Liverpool are involved in the collaboration. Young
learners attend Liverpool Community College and/or a Work Based Learning Provider
or an employer two days per week during years 10 and 11 and follow programmes
in a wide range of occupational subjects and areas. These subjects all lead to
a full or part vocational qualification.
