Do you want to learn a new skill? Maybe just as a hobby or to be able to do repairs round the house or in a business. If this is the case then why not come to the college and complete our introduction to carpentry. Carpentry is one of the oldest trades and is a highly demanded skill all over the world.

Our course will give you the following skills:-

• Health & Safety (around tools & the house/site),

• Creating joints,

• Linings/frames,

• Cut, fix and shape mouldings,

• Cut and fix Ironmongery (locks etc),

• Mark & set out panels.

No qualifications or experience is needed but a commitment to learn will give you a good standing to succeed.

Our lecturers are industry qualified and are able to pass on their skills so that you can create and finish tasks/projects to a high standard.

This is a full cost course at £180.

The course runs in the evening, at various times throughout the year, for 2 hours a week over 10 weeks, generally 6pm till 8pm.  The next course will be due to start in April 2018.
