Services to schools

The following information outlines the College’s offer to schools and education agencies across the City.

Assembly Visits and Specialist Talks

Our specialist recruitment team will arrange a visit to inform young people about the opportunities available and the benefits of studying for work-related qualifications with us.

These informal talks are an opportunity for both pupils and teachers to ask us questions about courses, careers and the range of support we offer to students.

If you would like our talks to focus on particular vocational specialisms, please outline your needs when requesting a visit from the team.

Campus Tour

As part of our schools’ programme, we can arrange campus tours to take in particular areas of the curriculum that may be of interest to your pupils. The tour is not only an opportunity for pupils to visit specialist facilities, but also a chance to observe teaching and learning as it happens.

If you like it you can stay for the day and experience 'A Day In The Life At College' we welcome learners to attend classes and gain confidence at college.

Open Events and Taster Sessions

Throughout the year we run a number of open days where prospective learners can visit our campus, meet tutors and get a taste of student life in one of the largest colleges in the country.

We can also arrange a series of career taster sessions to introduce pupils to job-related courses that will inspire them to explore their interests, or learn more about careers they may have in mind.
