Thursday 17th May is International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO).The aim of the day is to tackle prejudice and discrimination faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and individuals.The date marks the day in early 1992 when homosexuality was removed from the World Health Organisation's list of mental disorders.
