Core Skills
By 2010, the government estimates that through technological advancements 95% of all new jobs created will
require level 2 or above qualifications, with over 65% of new and existing jobs requiring level 3 and above
by 2012.
It is important in any career to have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, but it is also necessary to be
equipped with a wide range of employability skills that will cross all platforms of business and industries.
