The nursery is located in our brand new brand centre "The Learning Exchange", which opened in June 2011.
The nursery is due to open in September for the first teaching week.

The nursery provides a wonderful, purpose built space for the children to enjoy. There is a large outdoor
play area with different areas for the children to discover and explore.
The indoor play area provides a cosy and stimulating space for the children. There is a multi sensory area,
where the children can experience the various mood lights and textures and enjoy a quieter time.
The children can move freely within the setting and are encouraged to choose their own activities, so that they become
independent learners. Similarly, they are supported to participate in the various adult led activities.
There are five fully qualified Nursery Officers, three of whom are full time staff, with two Lunchtime Assistants employed during
the lunch period to ensure there are the required number of staff available throughout the day.
Each member of staff will act as a key person to a designated number of children. The children may choose their own key person, when
they feel comfortable with a member of staff. The key person will support your child as they settle into the nursery.
The nursery staff are keen to work in partnership with parents/carers. As parents you know your child(ren) best and we
want you to tell us about your child, e.g. likes/dislikes, any fears they may have. Successful parent partnership will ensure
your child has the best learning experience possible.
The nursery is registered for 14 children aged 18mths – 4 yrs. The nursery will be open Monday – Thursday from 8.30am – 5.30pm
and on a Friday from 8.30am – 3.00 pm.
