We have six specialist teams with a wealth of experience in providing support for
learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Each team has extensive
knowledge of different needs and how best to support them.
The six teams are:
- Specific learning difficulties and disabilities
- Dyslexia and specific learning differences
- Physical disabilities
- Hearing impairment
- Visual impairment
- Personal care support
Examples of support include specialist assessment, care assistants, mobility
training, technical support, study support workers, specialist teachers and arranged
travel.
When you apply to college please let us know about your specific needs. An
individual assessment will be made so we can plan and prepare for the support you
will need when you start your college course.

- Talking to Learner Services
- Telling us about any support needs on your application form
- Discussing your needs with tutors at interview
- Coming in to college for an assessment with one of our teams
