Deaf Learner Support

A team of highly qualified professionals are here to meet the needs of learners who are deaf or hard of hearing. The team includes communication support workers (CSWs), and a specialist teacher/assessor.

Support could include:

• BSL communication
• Note-taking
• Language support
• Deaf fire text alert system
• Text phones
• Loop systems
• Guidance to course tutors and staff development about including learners who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Complete an application form – if support is required, you must tick the box – DEAF/HARD OF HEARING

We will ask you to come into College to discuss your support requirements
