Personal Care Needs

There is a team of qualified experienced staff to help with all your personal needs during your time in college.

All learners receive an assessment of need which identifies the support required for each individual learner.

Support could include:

• Support during lunch periods and breaks
• Assistance at meals, with mobility and with toilet requirements
• Assistance to and from transport
• Practical help to learners who have medical conditions or who are ill

College facilities include care support rooms and showers on major sites, toilets for disabled people, wheelchairs, hoists, fully equipped first aid boxes and other personal care equipment.

We also offer an assisted transport scheme which is dependent on your circumstances. Please ask for an application form to see if you qualify.
