Financial Support

There is a number of different funds available to learners while they study. Most of these funds are means tested and are aimed at learners most in need. Check the site for further details and criteria.

Here are some examples of additional financial support:

• Support may be available towards living costs either through Education Maintenance Allowance or Adult Learning Grant
• For learners on means tested benefits or low incomes there may be help to buy expensive equipment or materials
• Learners unable to travel independently may be eligible for help towards the cost of taxi or minibus services
• Assisted childcare places may be available for learners' children
• Further support may be available for learners experiencing financial hardship
