What is it?
A childcare payment to young parents. Care to Learn provides financial support for
teenage parents who want to continue in, or return to learning or training. It helps
with the costs of childcare and travel.
You can claim Care to Learn if:
- You are under 19 years of age on the day your learning or training starts
- You are attending 6th form, college, e2e or a programme led apprenticeship
- You are responsible for caring for your child
- You are using a registered child minder
You can apply for funding for your childcare. Applications can be made now for
courses that start at any time.
