Help with Travel Costs

In order to qualify for travel support, all learners must fulfil the attendance
requirements. Call at the centre office for automatic help with travel costs you live
in Merseyside and live more than one mile away and:
- Receive a means tested benefit
- Are aged 16-18* (and 19 if in receipt of EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance))
- And are not eligible for a bus pass from your local authority.
* 16-18 year old learners may be eligible for travel support from their Local
Education Authority. 16-18 year old learners should apply to their Local Education

Call in to Learner Services for a Travel Support form if you live more than one
mile away and are:
- on a benefit which is not means tested, e.g. Incapacity Benefit
- over 19 and on a low income.
