Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools 19+ Level 3

24+ Learning Loan Eligible

This qualification will provide an understanding of the knowledge needed when working directly with children or young people in primary schools. They include learning about children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare and communication. The Level 3 Certificate is suitable for those working in unsupervised roles that support pupils’ learning. They will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by CACHE.

Your placement will be two days per week.

If you are aged over 24, this course is 24+ Learning Loan eligible which can fully cover the course fee. For the academic year 15/16 this course costs for aged 24 and over £1,417 and is subject to change depending on your age and the academic year.

This qualification can lead you into a higher level teaching assistant.
