A Levels

At The City of Liverpool College, we have a range of A Levels subjects for you to choose from. A Levels are two-year courses, and you’ll study three different subjects alongside each other.

A Levels are suitable for learners aged between 16 and 19. / There are different entry requirements for each subject – check the course pages for more information.

GCSEs

If you’re aged 16-18 and looking to join a GCSE programme or a BTEC course, please check the entry criteria before you apply.

GCSE Resit Programme:

  • two GCSEs at Grade 4 or above and Grade 3 in the subjects you choose to resit (if studied).

BTEC Science and Business:

  • a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English.
    If you want to study GCSEs, there are three PATHWAYS to choose from. Subjects included in each pathway are as follows:
