Course Details
- A course designed to help you learn the demands of Brickwork, or to improve your pre-existing skills.
- Work at your own pace on challenging but enjoyable projects.
- 8 week course.
- Takes place 5:30pm-8:00pm.
- Recieve support and guidance from our experienced teaching staff.
- Learn in an inclusive and respectful environment.
What to expect from the course
- Do you want to learn a new skill? How about bricklaying?
The course is designed to enable you to develop their skills in the following areas:
• H&S
• Basic trowel skills – rolling and spreading mortar, buttering bricks, running to a line and jointing.
• Brickwork skills gauge, level, plumb and range.
• Brickwork knowledge- basic bonds and methods of work
At your own pace, you'll work on various projects over the 8 week course. This is a full cost course at £280. The course runs in the evening from 5.30-8.00 for 8 weeks.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.
Career pathways
- The course can lead to a fulltime course at construction.

This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over. Fees are payable by all students unless sponsored by an employer.
