Course information

This course is aimed at learners interested in entering the Engineering sector, and will cover a range of topics allowing you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge. Students will study topics which include engineering materials; electronics, control and instrumentation, mechanical structures and dynamics, manufacturing methods in engineering, engineering design and engineering mathematics and statistics. You will study both the practical use and underpinning knowledge of the subject.

C&G Level 3 Advanced Technical Certificate in Engineering

This course leads to...

Successful completion of the course can lead to further study at Level 4 or employment opportunities within the engineering sector as composites technican, skilled machinist, measurement and control technician.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language, Maths and Science, or a level 2 equivalent qualification in a relevant subject at merit or distinction, achieved in the last 5 years.
