The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a level three qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university. The course is structured to allow students to develop both knowledge of their subjects and the academic skills to progress to university.

The combination of subjects will allow you to build up an extensive knowledge of teaching practice and skills, through the education professions module. You will also have the opportunity to develop your subject knowledge in areas such as history and English literature.

This course is also available part-time - evening/blended. The evening and blended learning course is designed to fit in around busy schedules, with a minimum of one evening per week studying at the College, combined with a distance learning programme.

This pathway is designed for students looking to go onto a career in teaching.
