- Help to achieve GCSE English and maths at grades A*-C if you do not already have them
- Practical activities that help your personal development including study skills, enrichment activities, employability training and classes in personal and social skills to get you ready for further education or employment.

English and Maths
English and Maths skills are vital for employment and to secure a place on courses at a higher level, including university.
We have a team of tutors who will work with you to achieve these essential qualifications and enable you to apply these skills in your day to day activities and work.
Since September 2013 any young person who does not achieve their GCSE in English language and mathematics at grade C or above will have to continue their studies at college. Students who have a grade D in either subject must study these subjects at GCSE level.
GCSE Physics help students gain a basic understanding of how science works, along with an understanding of core ideas, these skills will give them more confidence in many other subject areas. It can also lead to more advanced study of physics (and electronics) at A Level or BTEC Applied Science.
You will need to have 2 Grade C's or a level 1 equivalent qualification in a relevant subject,
achieved within the last 5 years.
All students aged 16-18 without GCSE English and maths at C or above will work towards these
qualifications while on their course.
This course runs in the day for 3 hours per week for 32 weeks per year and will take 1 year to complete.
If you are 16-18 years old you will normally be expected to have a full time programme of study.
