Vacancy Description   

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Rights Management team across all aspects of its work, looking after the rights of Sentric’s songwriters and ensuring that information is processed in an efficient manner, while also assisting with artist engagement activities.

Role:

The role will consist of the following responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting with Live Performance data processing

  • Maintaining venue database to ensure all new venues are processed and current data is accurate

  • Populating system with live performance information from third party sources where directed

  • Compiling festival line-ups to identify potential claims that can be made by Live performance team

  • Contacting artists for live performance information where directed to ensure their profiles are up to date

  • Contacting artists for evidence of live performances if requested by collection societies

  • Processing live performance claims as required so they can be sent to relevant collection societies

 

  • Assisting with Copyright Administration data processing

  • Clearing unclaimed performance data to identify potential claims

  • Identifying Neighbouring Right information for use in YouTube registrations

  • Processing unmatched distribution data so that it can be matched with works in database

  • Processing work registration and amendment information as required

 

  • Assisting with Artist Engagement

  • Answering phone calls and redirecting to relevant parties

  • Helping source content for Sentric website so that it is updated regularly

  • Updating website using content management system on regular basis

  • Assist with creation and implementation of content to engage with Sentric users on social media

 

You will be completing a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) in the workplace through The City of Liverpool College.

Sentric Music is an award winning independent music publisher home to tens of thousands of UK based artists/musicians. We ensure the copyright of their music is registered with the relevant societies around the world so their intellectual property is both protected and can be exploited for royalty income via traditional music publishing routes.

 

Artists sign up to Sentric’s service via an online portal where they can administer their copyrights and make royalty claims via their artist dashboard. Here they can also submit their music for various synchronisation opportunities. Sentric Music plays an active role in pushing their artists’ music for use on TV/movies/games/adverts/promos worldwide and is currently seeing catalogue used on prime time UK TV on a daily basis.

Future Prospects   

The Rights Management division of the company is expecting notable growth over the coming 12-18 months that will require extra manpower to manage the expansion. We will consider any successful applicant for full time employment upon completion of their apprenticeship.
