Vacancy Description

We are looking for an organised and professional Apprentice to provide reliable administrative support.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. We are looking for a reliable, flexible individual who has a friendly and confident personality and an eye for detail. Good spoken and written communication skills are also required.

This is a busy role where you will be taking on a wide range of working tasks from answering the telephone, dealing with confidential information and generally supporting the team.  

Main Activities

To assist with day to day administration tasks including:

  • Reception Duties
  • Welcoming visitors and making refreshments
  • Filing
  • Maintaining records
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • General typing and mail merge
  • Entering and maintaining data
  • Collating reports
  • Dealing with internal and external post
  • Assisting with photocopying.

At all times, complying with the company policies, procedures and instructions.

Qualifications required

A good standard of Maths and English will be required for this role.


Training to be provided

Business Administration Level 2

Expected Duration

12 months +

Working Week

37.5 hours per week.  

9-5pm – Monday – Friday

£5:00 per hour

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by the Government for non-levy paying employers. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
