An experienced pastoral care team is on hand to provides help, advice and information to students on all issues relating to personal, social development and overall wellbeing.

Achievement Coaches

Achievement Coaches provide one-to-one support to help you overcome any barriers to learning.  Not only do they offer a listening ear, but they also work on improving your study skills, build up confidence and help you to achieve your aims whilst in College.

Personal Development

As a student of the College, you will be supported and encouraged to work hard to achieve success. However, we also want it to be interesting, fun, exciting and rewarding, so why not make the most of your time in College through a programme of exciting activities provided by both the students’ union and our dedicated student enrichment team.

Careers Advice and Guidance

A team of qualified and experienced careers advisers offer professional, confidential advice and guidance to current and prospective students. They’ll help you with a range of issues, including choosing the right course, researching a potential career, applying to university or preparing to apply for jobs.

Learning Support

  • We offer a Learning Support service to suit the individual. We have excellent resources and specialist help and support for students who have learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • As a student, our aims are to enable you to reach your potential, achieve success, become independent and progress into Higher Education or employment.
  • We welcome your enquiry and will assess the level of support you need. Once on course your support will be regularly reviewed and adjusted to suit your needs.
