Overview

NGE Liverpool Fiber are looking for a passionate Business Administration Apprentice to help the growth of their very exciting Liverpool Backhaul Project. The successful candidate will be working predominantly in the company’s Liverpool office, receiving practical training in business administration.

Full Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. 
  • Contributes to the efficiency of the organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams, and resolving issues as requested. 
  • Use multiple IT packages in order to write letters and emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. 
  • Produce accurate records and documents, and make recommendations for improvements to present to management. 
  • Maintains records and files, handling confidential information in compliance with the company’s procedures. 
  • Answer questions from inside and outside the company, representing the organisation and department. 
  • Share administrative best-practice amongst the organisation, coaching others to perform tasks correctly. 
  • Apply problem solving to resolve challenging or complex complaints. 
  • Manage resources (equipment, facilities etc) 
  • Organise meetings, taking minutes and creating action logs as appropriate. 
  • Organise events, taking responsibility for logistics (travel, accommodation etc) 
  • Use project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report

Working Week: Monday to Friday, 9.00-17.00.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Maths and English is required (tuition is provided if necessary to gain Level 2) 

Training to be Provided

Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship

Future Prospects

Successful completion of this apprenticeship will lead to a full time position.
