Working week – 8.00 – 4.30PM. Monday to Thursday  & 8.00 – 3.30PM. Friday 

Total hours per week: 39.00

Weekly wage – £156.00

Expected apprenticeship duration – 15 months

Grand Engineering are a structural steel fabrication company based near Upper Parliament Street. Grand Engineering are proud to be the experts in structural engineering and architectural steelwork. They established their business over 17 years ago with the emphasis on quality and honesty, and those values remain at the core of the business today.

Grand engineering limited seeking a Business Administration Apprentice who will work with Managing Director and current administrative staff to support their engineering business.

The successful apprentice will be working with spread sheets and company database systems. Quality assurance records within this business/industry is now a major requirement so the candidate must have an aptitude for working in these Office packages.

You must be able to provide excellent first level cover for all telephone and face-to-face interactions.

The successful candidate will  undertake additional training and constructively take part in meetings and other events designed to improve the effective development of the post and post holder.

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE grades A-C in English and ICT are essential or equivalents
  • GCSE in maths is desirable for this role or equivalents.
