POG Builders are looking train an apprentice in a range of construction skills to support their construction company based in Upton, Wirral. They are an award winning company supplying extensions, conversions, home improvements, and renovations for both domestic and commercial properties. As a maintenance operations apprentice you will learn the basics of several trades including brickwork, site joinery, plastering, painting and decorating and some tiling.
You would normally be part of a small team, and work on helping with in one of the following:

1) What do you want to get from the role and the course?
2) Provide an example of when you have completed manual labour or any examples of hard work. Please be as prescriptive as possible.
Things to consider: Reality Check – You must be willing to start your working day early and keep up with the pace of the team. The majority of our work is in the Wirral and the surrounding area.
Important information – This course will provide a surface knowledge only of each of the trade skills listed. There is no Level 3 course for this apprenticeship. Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16-18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by the Government for non-levy paying employers. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part- funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
