The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a level three qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university. The course is structured to allow students to develop both knowledge of their subjects and the academic skills to progress to university.
The combination of subjects will allow you to build up extensive subject knowledge in the core subjects of; business studies, management and HR and business finance. In addition to this you will be able to develop your academic and subject skills in a supportive environment, which will allow you to make the transition to degree level.
IMPORTANT: You must be aged 19 or over to be able to study on an Access programme.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements to study on the business and management pathway are:

You must be aged 19 or over with a GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English & GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths. Please note, Level 2 equivalents will be accepted for both English and Maths, unless you are studying the Finance option which requires GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths. Equivalents cannot be accepted for this option.

If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free. If you are aged between 19-23 and don’t have 2 A-Levels (or equivalent), you won't have to pay any fees for this course.
