The Award in Education and Training provides an introduction to teaching, learning and assessment to help you develop in your career.This is a short course that provides an introduction to teaching, learning and assessment for individuals who are new to education and training or do not have any prior teaching experience. The course covers teaching roles and responsibilities, inclusive learning and teaching, planning, and the principles of assessment.
The course is suitable for a range of individuals who work or intend to work in: adult and community education, the voluntary sector; commerce; industry; the public sector or HM Forces; or further education.
When you have finished the course, you could progress onto our Certificate in Education or PGCE.

Entry Requirements
