This course has been designed to provide students with knowledge, skills and understanding to progress to a career within the fashion retail sector. The content of the course includes buying & range planning as the main focus and practical buying experience. The qualification consists of six units in a variety of business contexts. Students will understand the buyer role and how to research & analyse external factors that influence decisions for example fashion design, trend & colour forecasting and customer profiles. Students will also examine fashion merchandising planning & trading.
Students work on live project briefs during the programme which can lead to confirmed employment as a direct result.
100% of students progress to Higher Education or employment as a buyer or within fashion promotion.
