Want to work in Healthcare? Would you like to study and gain lots of work experience at the same time? We will provide you with a relevant placement where you will gain the practical experience you need to get a job or progress on to University.
The Level 3 Healthcare Cadetship qualification will provide you with a range of essential technical and practical skills and knowledge to work within one of the health care industries.
What does the qualification cover?
The content of the qualification will look at areas such as:
Personal and professional development in health and care
Equality and diversity in health and care
Effective communication in health and care settings
Safeguarding for all in health and care
Science in health and care
Understanding cognitive impairment
Understanding individual care needs
Person centred working with children, young people, parents and carers
Research in health and care
Life span developments – health and care needs
Understanding physical disabilities and exploring mental health wellbeing
The course will be a mixture of classroom based activity (3 days per week) delivered by industry experts, and work experience (2 days per week). The work experience will give you the opportunity to put the skills you have learnt into practice.

Following successful completion of this qualification you can gain UCAS points to progress to university to study Nursing, Midwifery, Social Care or other allied health professions or you could apply to work in a number of settings, such as:

Entry Requirements
This qualification is suitable for anyone over the age of 16 years. You need to have your GCSE maths, English and science at grade 4/C or above plus 3 other GCSEs at grade 4/C or above.
