Course informationThis programme gives a comprehensive coverage of management topics and techniques through mandatory and optional units. The Award covers units to value of 5 credits including mandatory unit on Solving Problems and Making Decisions and two other units on Understanding Change in the Workplace and Achieving Objectives through Time Management.
In order to succeed you will need to submit a variety of tasks, including work-based assignments, throughout the programme.
Apprenticeship qualification will cover additional knowledge units and key skills in Maths, English and IT.
QualificationsCMI Level 3 Award/Certificate in First Line Management.
Apprentices will also achieve Technical Certificate in Team Leading and key skills qualification in Maths, English and IT.
This course leads to...Higher level taught Management programmes (such as those at level 4 and level 5) depending on job role within the organisation. If you are uncertain about the progression opportunities open to you, you can discuss these with your tutor or a College Adviser.
Entry RequirementsThere are no formal entry requirements but this course is a continuation of the skills developed on other management courses. It is relevant for those in post (or aspiring to the role) who have had little or no formal training.
