Music Performance — Level 2 Diploma

Course information

The UAL Level 2 Diploma in Music Performance has been designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to further study and training in a range of music related subjects, including music performance, music theory, composition, midi sequencing, listening skills, sight reading, live sound for musicians and studying of instrument development and individual instrumental skills as well as developing basic digital skills across different musical platforms. The qualification has been designed for students who have an interest in music performance and/or related subjects, who wish to explore and extend this interest via a full-time, immersive learning experience. Many students will have identified a specific progression route, within the creative industries. This course will enable them to develop their skills, using this qualification as a starting point, to progress to the music industry. Entry Requirements

This course is designed for students aged 16 or above.
Your English and Maths will need to be at a minimum of level 1 which is GCSE D-E (4-1) standard. You must have at least 1 GCSE at a minimum of grade D (3) or equivalent.

An enthusiasm in music performance and rudimentary skills on chosen instrument.
