What to expect from the course
- The Level 2 Diploma in Music Technology & Production is a one year course and is equivalent to four GCSEs. This course is aimed at aspiring music producers, musicians, sound engineers (live and studio) and students that want to be involved in music and sound for media such as DJ-ing, Games, Film and TV. If you enjoy a creative, hands on approach to music production, our course will enable you to make the kind of music you have been dreaming about.
The course covers digital recording and mixing techniques, music sequencing, music and sound production, the music industry, original music composition.
The college has two recording studios and four computer music suites (two PC based and two Mac based). In the Music Production Department. You will learn industry standard sequencers that includes Cubase, Pro Tools and Logic Pro.
The course team comprises entirely of qualified teaching staff that have been sourced from industry and remain active within their profession.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

Entry Requirements
This course is designed for students aged 16 or above.
Your English and Maths will need to be at a minimum of level 1 which is GCSE D-E (4-1) standard. You must have at least 1 GCSE at a minimum of grade D (3) or equivalent.
