Course information
The course will introduce beginners to the basic construction techniques (slab, coil, thrown, slip casting, press moulding, modelling etc) .and surface treatments (glaze, slip decoration, sgraffito, mono printing, decals/transfer printing etc).
The intermediate part is suitable for those who have experience or who have completed the beginners’ course. It will build and further develop the students’ abilities through construction/ decorative techniques and further push their creative vocabulary through the medium of clay/ceramics.
Either sole classes of beginners or intermediate students will be formed, or if not possible then a mixed groups of abilities in each class.
This is a full cost course at only £186.00.
It runs from 6-8:30pm on a Wednesday evening, numbers permitting. Start date 9th September 2020
