Progress Leader Team

Across all five sites we have a Student Hub which houses Progress Leaders, Work Experience officers, Careers Advice and Guidance and the Welfare and Wellbeing team.

This is a central space for all students to come and request support and discuss opportunities within their student journey. All 14–19-year-old students will be allocated a progress leader within their study programme who will support and challenge them during their time in college, to ensure all students develop into their true potential whilst with us. Make sure you come and find us within your first week so we can introduce ourselves and tell you how we can support you further.

Your First Week / Transition Week

What is Transition Week?

Transition Week is when all students are welcomed to the College. It ensures you feel safe and comfortable in the environment so you can make the most out of your time here. Transition Week takes place during your first week of college. All students will be invited to attend Transition Week activities from 11th September to 15th September.

This week will give you an opportunity to get familiar with your course and college life. You will meet all your tutors and support staff and receive all the information you need to be successful this year.

What will Transition Week involve?

All students will be invited in during this week to take part in welcome activities. If your first week is different from your normal timetable, we will contact you by email and text.
