    [ContentText] => ESOL offers part-time courses at different level for speakers of other languages, who wish to gain national qualifications in the English Language.  

Courses develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and include grammar, access and study skills. ESOL courses are based on the ESOL Skills for life National Curriculum from Beginner Level to Level 2.  

This course is only runs in the  evenings. Evening courses run two evenings a week.
This course is for people who will be 19 or older on August 31st this year.


    [ContentQualifications] => ESOL programmes are accredited at the following levels: 

* Pre Entry - Beginners 
* Entry Level (E1, E2, E3) 
* Level 1 (equivalent to NVQ 1) 
* Level 2 (equivalent to NVQ 2 / GCSE)   

Exams can be taken in Reading, Writing, Listening/Speaking.

Learners can progress onto other academic or vocational courses in college - please check entry requirements.

    [ContentEntryRequirements] => All students have an initial assessment of their English language skills so that they can be offered the most appropriate classes for their level.
