What to expect from the course

It is a legal requirement for operatives to hold this certificate for work on domestic natural gas installations and equipment.
This enables operatives to register with Gas Safe.

This is an assessment only programme, although many applicants find it beneficial to undergo our short (1 day) refresher training course, which can be undertaken prior to assessment.

There are a number of assessment options and certificates to meet the needs of the individual and the type of work they undertake:

Core Gas Safety (CCN1)
Central Heating & Water Heaters (CENWAT)
Cookers (CKR1)
Fires (HTR1)
Warm Air (DAH1)
Meters (MET1)
Flue Gas Analysis (CPA1)
This course is for:
CCNA1 RA - Core Gas Safety Reassessment (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1). 2 Days - £490.00 (incl VAT & Blueflame Registration fee)

This reassessment is available Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday each week.

Further courses are available to book as follows:
Half day Per appliance - £145.00 (incl VAT & Blueflame registration fee)
CCN1 - Core Gas Safety Initial Assessment plus 4 appliances. 4 Days - £750.00 (incl VAT & Blueflame registration fee)
Refresher training. 1 Day - £180.00 (incl VAT)

Academy Restaurant

Duke Street campus is also home to the College’s Academy Restaurant. Often referred to by it’s customers as Liverpool’s hidden gem, the restaurant serves top class cuisine, at highly competitive prices. Food is expertly prepared by professional chef/tutors and young chefs in training and offers students a range of discounts at different times of the year.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free

When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.

Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite

The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

    Entry Requirements

    Not everyone is eligible to apply for assessm ent via ACS and only certain categories can a pply.

    Applicants must meet one  of the following pre-requisites:-

    • Hold a Gas Qualification at Level 2 or  above in the relevant categories for assessm ent
    • Applicants who are currently Gas  Safe registered seeking certificate renewal  and/or assessment and certification to
    extend their work range.

    APPL ICANTS MUST PROVIDE:-
    • Current ACS Ce rtificates,
    • Two Passport Photos,
    • Photo ID (must be Driving Licence or Cu rrent passport)
    • Full payment on firs t day of course

    This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over. Fees are payable by all students unless sponsored by an employer.
