Course information
The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a level three qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university. The course is structured to allow students to develop both knowledge of their subjects and the academic skills to progress to university.
Allied Health Professions is a daytime course which is designed for students looking to go onto a career in a health profession, such as adult nursing, childhood nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy and paramedics. The combination of subjects will allow you to build up an extensive knowledge of the human body and mind, through modules in human physiology and psychology. You will also develop your understanding of healthcare professions through the professional healthcare practice module. In addition to this you will be able to develop your academic and subject skills in a supportive environment, which will allow you to make the transition to degree level.
IMPORTANT: You must be aged 19 or over to be able to study on an Access programme.

You must be aged 19 or above with a GCSE 4/C or above in English and Maths.
Equivalent qualifications will not be accepted unless otherwise confirmed by the relevant higher education institutions you are looking to progress onto.
