What to expect from the course
- This is a Level 3 qualification studied over two years starting with the Introductory Diploma and second year being the Extended Diploma. Each of these are stand alone qualification, but you must complete year one before progressing onto year two.

Duke Street campus is also home to the College’s Academy Restaurant. Often referred to by it’s customers as Liverpool’s hidden gem, the restaurant serves top class cuisine, at highly competitive prices. Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.
Career pathways
- Completion of this course could either lead to progression onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism: Aviation pathway (second year), or full and part time employment in a range of aviation roles, including passenger services, ground handling, dispatch and security operations.

Entry Requirements
The following is a guide as to what you might be expected to achieve to gain entry onto the course.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 4 (previously C) or above including Maths and English Language or a minimum of previously achieving a Level 2 course in either Tourism, Aviation or Cabin Crew at merit or above.
An enthusiasm and passion to succeed and develop yourself with great attendance will be vital to you achieving success on this course.

Fees
If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free.

Please note this is a two year programme that consists of two courses. Your fee status may change from one year to the next depending on age and circumstance at the start of the next course e.g. if you turn 19 before progressing to the next level, you may be required to pay fees as outlined above.
