What to expect from the course
- The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners knowledge and understanding needed to enable them to plan and evaluate events.
You'll gain an understanding of the skills required to plan, organise and evaluate events by developing your knowledge and understanding. Areas covered include marketing methods and resources, market research, human resources,
communication and customer service relevant to events.
The qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of planning and running an event. It may be used as an introduction for those who wish to pursue a career as an event planner but also for learners in or preparing for a wide range of job roles in diverse sectors which require them to plan and organise events as part of their responsibilities.Qualifications

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course learners must be aged 19+, have at least a Level 1 in English, have good IT Skills and have access to a laptop or PC.
Fees
This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over.
If you are unemployed or earning less than £31,600 a year? You may qualify to join this course for free.
