This course is comprised of four comprehensive units that delve into the intricate workings of the warehousing and storage industry.

In the first unit, we explore how the warehousing and storage industry operates, examining the key players, processes, and systems that contribute to its efficient functioning.

The second unit focuses on the functions and benefits of warehousing, shedding light on the vital role it plays in supply chain management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.

Moving on to the third unit, we delve into the art of storing goods. From optimal storage techniques to best practices in handling different types of products, this unit equips learners with the knowledge and skills to ensure the safe and efficient storage of goods in a warehouse setting.

Duke Street campus is also home to the College’s Academy Restaurant. Often referred to by it’s customers as Liverpool’s hidden gem, the restaurant serves top class cuisine, at highly competitive prices. Food is expertly prepared by professional chef/tutors and young chefs in training and offers students a range of discounts at different times of the year.

When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.

Entry Requirements

Learners should have at least Level 1 in English and have good IT skills, have access to a PC or laptop as well as a passion for learning.

Fees

This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over.
If you are unemployed or earning less than £31,600 a year? You may qualify to join this course for free.
