What to expect from the course
- In any workplace, there can be no room for violence and harassment. Sadly, reports show that more than 1 in 3 people leave their job because of bullying.
With our Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Workplace Violence and Harassment qualification, you will gain an understanding of how to create a safe working environment. You'll learn about important policies and procedures, why workplace violence may occur, and how the risk of workplace violence can be reduced by good practices.
The qualification will also give you the skills to champion equality and diversity within your workplace and make it more inclusive.
What will I learn?
How to contribute to a positive and safe working environment, How to reduce and effectively deal with violence in the workplace, Understanding aggression, bullying and harassment in the workplace and how it can be prevented and Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the benefits to individuals and organisations.
How am I assessed?
Learning will take place via an online platform, you will be able to learn at a time that suits you without the need to attend college. At the start of your course you will be allocated a tutor who will support you through your qualification and you will be provided with all learning and assessment materials which have been specifically developed to support you in meeting the qualification requirements. Your tutor will also provide you with written feedback on the assessments you submit as well as ongoing support through a remote tutorial.Qualifications

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

Entry Requirements
Learners must be aged 19+, have at least a Level 1 in English, access to a laptop or PC and have good IT Skills.
