Course informationThis course is an excellent introduction into the Health and Social Care sector. You will be led by dedicated tutors with experience from a variety of settings such as nursing, hospitals and social care areas. For this qualification, you will need to complete all the core and mandatory units, giving you a balanced coverage of the vocational sector. The units are designed to cover the body of content that employers and educators in the sector consider essential for this level. They will also support the remainder of learning needed for this qualification. Your work will be internally assessment and externally assessed, assessing your knowledge, skills and understanding. In this qualification, you will also be required to sit exams.
QualificationsBTEC Level 2 in Health and Social Care
This course leads to...Other Level 2 qualifications, and Level 3 BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care. You can also progress to related academic qualifications, such as GCE in Health and Social Care, or Psychology.
Entry RequirementsYou are required to have the following:
- 3 GCSEs including English Language and Maths GCSE Grade D
- Two satisfactory references (essential)
- Commitment to equal opportunities
