Course informationThis level three course is aimed at people who are currently working in the industry at supervisory level or those wishing to enter the industry at this level. You will need to complete a total of 8 units.
This comprises five mandatory units
1. Supervise the work of staff
2. Establish and develop positive working relationships in hospitality
3. Contribute to the control of resources
4. Maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working environment
5. Manage yourself
And three optional units to be agreed with your assessor
Assessment of this award will be carried out via observation, professional discussion, witness testimony, candidate reports and at times during sessions within the realistic working environment of the Academy Restaurant.
QualificationsNVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership
This course leads to...Team/section leader, junior management roles within food and beverage outlets within hotels, restaurants, event catering, cafes/bistros.
Entry RequirementsMinimum level 2 food & drink service, ideally part time work experience within hospitality
