This Pre Access Full Science Programme is for students wishing to progress to courses such as medicine, pharmacy, veterinary Science etc., and will study GCSE Maths, English, and a combination of Science subjects. This is a full GCSE programme.
Note that a fee may be chargeable in certain circumstances.

This course can lead to an Access to Higher Education Diploma at the City of Liverpool College
To secure a place on the Pre-Access programme, you must currently be working towards Level 2 in both English and Maths. Therefore, in order to receive an offer of a place on the course, you will be required to pass the College’s initial assessment, which will identify you as working towards Level 2/GCSE.This assessment will determine whether you are placed initially on Functional Skills or GCSE, which will be reassessed during the first half term.
If you are not currently working towards Level 2/GCSE, you will be required to complete a programme of study aimed at improving your skills in English and Maths. You will have an opportunity to do this by studying on a flexible English and Maths course before you apply next year for this course.
