Course Details
- T Levels
- last for two years and are studied five days per week (80% classroom and 20% workplace Time)
- are equivalent to three A Levels, carrying the equivalent UCAS points
- prepare learners for a skilled career by providing practical skills and knowledge
- include an extended industry placement of at least 315 hours
- are assessed through a combination of exams, course work, workplace reviews, an employer project and an end-point assessment. To pass the qualification, students must have fully completed the extended placement and gained the necessary level of work experience (validated by the employer).

Duke Street campus is also home to the College’s Academy Restaurant. Often referred to by it’s customers as Liverpool’s hidden gem, the restaurant serves top class cuisine, at highly competitive prices. Food is expertly prepared by professional chef/tutors and young chefs in training and offers students a range of discounts at different times of the year.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.
Career pathways
- A degree apprenticeship, university degree or skilled employment. You will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training or study in the Health and Science sector. A Laboratory Scientist will be able to work in a wide range of organisations such as in laboratory research in hospitals and public health organisations, environmental agencies, utility companies, forensic science institutions, food manufacturing companies, and pharmaceutical and chemical companies.

Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including all GCSE Sciences at grades 5+ or grades 55 in combined Science. GCSE Maths at grade 5 and GCSE English Language grade 4 is also required.
Fees
This course is only available to learners aged 16-18 at the start of the course and is free.
